We had a great company picnic organized by Rafael and Juan a couple of weeks ago. The guys did a really good job because for once, I was not involved in event planning. I take that back. I let them borrow my big SUV to get the food items at BJ’s. But, aside from that, I just showed up and ate and chatted with everybody and their families, and it was quite nice.

They rented a park with a playground for the children, brought a ton of food and drinks. They also planned some games so everyone would be engaged. It also gave a chance to newer CableOrganizer team members to get better acquainted with each other. Our team beat Electriduct’s at flag football, so all is good.

The picnic went so well that there is already talk of a “winter” picnic at Fort Lauderdale’s beach so we can play volleyball. I’ll be watching and doing crochet as sports are unfortunately crossed off my life indefinitely, back surgery oblige. Okay, maybe I’ll go snorkeling.
