CableOrganizer's 2011 Company Meeting

March 25, 2011 was CableOrganizer’s 6th Annaul Meeting. You might wonder why 6th and not 9th. See, when you ave 3 to 12 employees, these things aren’t quite as relevant and necessay to hold. This year’s was especially important because a substantial third of our company is now composed of new team members ( with us 9 months or less). Recession worked its magic and unfortunately forced a few great ones away to other states.

2010 was the year of some staff shrinkage, but not in a bad way. We improved our processes even more, because we all know that they weren’t streamlined anough as they were. All jokes aside, recession leads to great things, innovation being one of them. Since our company is mostly made out of super creative people reading Grist, Fast Company, Gizmodo, Engadget, HBR and the likes (I’m the biggest offender here) and making rocketships out of #recycled junkyard stuff during their lunch break, you figured that we came out ahead with our newly tweaked KPIs.

The pipeline for 2011 was revealed. As usual, a lot needs to be accomplished in all departments. A couple of people will be hired for administrative and logistical positions, a lot of new products from existing lines will be added with our focus on a couple of new channels. We will continue improving our shopping cart, ERP and supply chain management systems thanks to our great team of  IT pros. that relentlessly  code new software modules. Social media and m-commerce and marketing efforts are also on our plate and will be developed throughout the year.

Last but not least, we presented Stephanie K. with the Employee of The Year Award and a trip of her choice valued at $3,000.00. She did such an excellent job in 2010. She represented the company very well at trade shows and gave it her all. She went the extra mile in every project she was assigned and always did everything with a smile.
