March 25, 2011 was CableOrganizer’s 6th Annaul Meeting. You might wonder why 6th and not 9th. See, when you ave 3 to 12 employees, these things aren’t quite as relevant and necessary to hold. This year’s was especially important because a substantial third of our company is now composed of new team members ( with us 9 months or less).

10 Trade Show Dos (Part 2 of 10): Know What You Are Selling

Know what you are selling. Sounds cliché. You’re probably thinking “duh!”. Well okay, but how many times have you gone by a booth and the person or people tending it didn’t know about the product that was displayed? How many times have you heard: “It just came out, I have no idea what it does, how it functions, I didn’t get any training”, or “I’m just the sales guy, I don’t have the specifications, the product manager and engineer are not here to help, so I’m sorry but I can’t answer all your questions”?
