Valerie Holstein Having Fun With New Hellermann Tyton HelaCon Plus Push-In Wire Connectors

You could say I’m really bored, you could say I need a life, you could say I’m acting blond with my new products, but you certainly can’t say I don’t go the extra mile on  product presentation.

When Dan Martin, VP of Sales at Hellermann Tyton, came to visit 2 weeks ago, armed with his HelaCon Plus color coded push-in wire connectors, naturally I got excited. As you can see on the picture, they look like candy and the shell is transparent. Unlike other connectors, you can visually identify and inspect your wire connections in seconds.

These wire connectors are the first on the market with a double spring design, so once the wire is pushed in, it stays firmly in place. I haven’t gotten the spec. on the retention value, or pull strength yet, but I couldn’t get anybody to untie my bracelet from my wrist, so I had to cut it off with a wire cutter!
