10 Ways To Own Your Workspace: Keep a daily calendar with the joke of the day.
Put a plant (I like fake ones for maintenance purposes), photos, and Mr. Potato Heads and other paraphernalia that makes you happy (in my case, Garfield, a Dr. House ball, a Slinky and a foam brain) in a contained area so you can enjoy them, but your space still looks clean and professional.
Come to work today knowing that it is going to be your best day yet, and that you are going to celebrate it all day long by giving it your all.
